Today someone with what sounded like a serious case of laryngitis caused havoc on DY. Richard G1ZGZ was calling through when Joe M0JEL came back to him, this was to be a short-lived contact however as the latter was not prepared to use the repeater whilst the irritant was present. Richard talked about how radio-fingerprinting software was apparently being used with the goal of catching the person responsible for the transmissions. But this of course has to rely on the assumptions that 1 - this person has a licensed station and sometimes uses the repeater normally and 2 - this person doesn't perhaps use a different radio for their shenanigans. More strange noises follow and the simpleton grunts away to himself a little while longer.
