Whistling. A method of signalling, a musical endeavour, even a form of communication.
And also it seems favoured by someone with too much time on their hands, as a form of annoying people - as John M6MGT and Sam M6SCJ unfortunately found out. What a shame this individual appears to be tone deaf!
